what does the who say about cbd?
⭐ in recent years there has been a shift in how cbd is socially perceived following reports and recommendations…but what does the World Health Organisation say about cbd? 🤷♀️
❌ in 2017, the WHO expert Committee on Drug Dependence came to the decision that cbd “does not appear to have abuse potential or cause harm.”
😁 the World Health Organisation have also reported that “cbd exhibits no effects indicative of abuse or dependence potential” & “to date, there is no evidence of recreational use of cbd or any public health-related problems associated with the use of pure cbd”
🏥 It is widely known that cbd has been demonstrated as an effective treatment of epilepsy & the world health organisation have reported that there is evidence cbd is also a useful treatment for a number of other medical conditions.
✅in 2018 WHO recommended that cbd is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile & they have gone on to officially recommended that cbd should not be “internationally scheduled as a controlled substance.”
🇬🇧as a result of this recommendation, various countries including the United Kingdom relaxed regulations around cbd.
